PLEASE PRAY FOR SARAH

We are humbly asking every willing believer to please pray with us for Sarah. As some of you are aware, we have, yet again, hit another bump in the road with Guatemala adoptions. A top official was recently replaced that called into question the 2000 some adoption cases in PGN. They have decided to re-interview the birthmoms of all 2000 cases..... which no one seems to know how long that will take!!! This morning I held my head in my hands and cried out to the Lord through tears begging Him to help our baby come home.... if it's His will.

So, here's the deal.... tonight, I got a call from our case worker that AMAZINGLY Sarah's birthmom has an interview 8:30am this Friday! Our agency was shocked to say the least. However there are some very serious concerns that we need prayer for:

1. The agency is very concerned that they will be able to find Sarah's birthmom in enough time to even be able to make the interview. PLEASE PRAY THEY WILL FIND HER QUICKLY! Update: prayer answered... Sarah's mom was located and she is ready and willing to make the interview tomorrow a.m.!

2. They also are very concerned about how PGN will handle the interview. In the past, they have been known to intimidate, pressure and embarass a mother into taking back her baby regardless of her ability to care for the child. Sarah will be in the room with her as she's interviewed. I hold Sarah close to my heart but with an open hand... I absolutely want what is best for her according to the Lord's will. However, if her birthmom doesn't really want her and the court pressures her into taking her...... I just can't even imagine the heartbreak. PLEASE PRAY FOR COURAGE AND WISDOM FOR SARAH'S BIRTHMOM!

3. I desperately want to please the Lord with my heart and fully trust in HIM. PLEASE PRAY DAVE AND I WILL BE STRONG!

Thank you everyone for praying with us!!

Praying as I write this that the Lord's will will be done in Sarah's life, also praying that they will locate her birthmom quickly. Praying that PGN's conclusion accurately reflects the situation.

I am praying for you and your husband as you wait this out. May the Lord be your strength and comfort and may you know His peace.

Lastly, because the Lord knows your heart and wants us to lift our requests to Him, I am asking that precious Sarah will soon be securely in your family.

Praying right now for you guys and all of the Birthmoms being interviewed even as I type this. Maybe it is a good sign that you already have a time for the interview to take place and this means that your file will be out quickly and not subject to any more made up laws. Praying that God will fill you with peace and that His grace will carry you through these next few days as you are waiting word on how everything goes.

Know that I am thinking almost continually about you and all of us families caught in the middle of this. God will bring us through this!

Ditto. I know exactly how your heart feels and my prayers are the same is yours. This is definitely a trial of our faiths and our only escape is through prayer to the Lord. Let us glorify Him despite this seemingly horrible situation.

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. John 14:27

Glad to hear they found her. Been reading that the interviews are very simple one question "Did you choose adoption for your child" or something like that and then it's over. There are some reports that the files could be release in 3 days for those interviewed and found to be fine. What a wonderful thing that would be for you guys!

Wow that is AMAZING! Praise the Lord that they were able to find her and the interview was scheduled so quickly! This is my first time to visit your blog. I found you through Julia's. I will definitely be praying for Sarah's birthmother tomorrow. I can't imagine how hard that will be for her. I will for sure be praying for you and your family as well!

HOLD STRONG IN GOD'S PEACE TOMORROW! I know your heart will be so anxious, but I pray that our Father will hold you so close. Rest assure you are in the arms of a MIGHTY God!

My family's thoughts and prayers are with your family. The only thing the Lord can not do is FAIL. Just ask and then believe no matter what and he will honor it.

Faith is not believing that he can do it but that he WILL do it.

May the Lord bless you.
